Helping you gain clarity in your leadership so that you can increase effectiveness, have greater influence and stay in your calling longer.

Welcome to Tend Leaders

Tend Leaders came out of a passion from founder Annette Bartlett to come alongside those who are in the helping industries such as leaders, pastors, chaplains, women in places of influence, and those working in the community. Annette has been leading and helping people in a local church, movement of churches and community for over 30 years. For 22 of those years, she served as a senior leader of a multi-site church that focused particularly on community engagement. Out of this life experience she became aware of a growing need for support of those in the important work of caring, ministering and helping those both in a community of faith and those in the broader community.

My passion is to come alongside a generation of men and women of influence to help them find and live out their God-created purpose!

Annette Bartlett, Founder

Can you relate to this?

Leadership, whether in the church or in the marketplace, can feel so exciting when you’re just starting out. Passionate about how you can make a difference, you head along the path, eager to help those who you meet along the way.

Yet a little further down the track, you notice something.

You are no longer feeling the same level of passion you once did.

Overwhelmed by the many tasks and people you now have responsibility for, your excitement has faded and often end up serving those around you at the expense of your own family, health and wellbeing.

This story, unfortunately, is far too common.

But how did it get this way?

Thankfully, there is a better way.

tend verb:

To do what is necessary to keep someone or something in a good condition or to improve their condition.

Support for every stage of leadership

  • Mentoring

The role of a mentor is to come alongside and help their mentorees address who they are not just what they do. Annette’s focus is to help people build a life that brings wholeness and resilience to their world and to be able to navigate the multiple demands they find themselves facing.

  • Professional Supervision

Supervision is to support you in your work/ministry life by collaborating together on key areas in your practice. While we may address areas of your personal life, we will mainly focus on how you can be the best practitioner for your field of expertise or ministry.

“Annette is really good listener and has a wealth of ministry and life experience. Annette is unflappable and walked me though an area of personal challenge which arose in the time she was mentoring me. I am so grateful that I was in a mentoring arrangement when this happened! ”
